Indian Style Underwater Throne Room
A fantasy concept rooted in historic and ancient culture. I used this environment as an opportunity to push my skills in both 2D and 3D conceptualization.

Honoring tradition with a spin
I aimed to take inspiration from various pieces of Hindu and Indian architecture from sublime palaces to historic temples while adding my own interpretation of Hindu mythology through a fantasy, underwater concept. Through architectural and stylistic research plus drafting multiple concepts, I wanted to form an environment that could set itself apart from other kinds of 3D environments including those of palaces.

Part of the work I wanted to achieve with this environment was implementing 2D-style water effects and shading through the usage of nodes in order to achieve the 2D-esque look I was aiming for.
